Adventure Travel Consultant required for one of the world's leading activity focused adventure travel companies, you will be specialising in both walking and cycling holidays that are either guided or self-guided. Our lively office offers a dynamic environment with healthy sales enquiries generated through the industry, the website and as a direct result of our range of innovative marketing activities. The business is growing and there is plenty of opportunity to progress and take your career to new levels. This exciting full-time position will suit a pro-active, highly motivated and well-travelled adventure and professional travel consultant with a strong knowledge of European destinations.
The Job:
*Working to sales targets and preparing monthly report
*Selling an expanse of products to the public by phone and email
*Presenting quotes to prospective travellers as required
*Assisting private groups and FITs by developing custom made itineraries
*Assisting at Travel Expos/Special events
*General office duties

Skills Required:

*Self-sufficiency and enjoyment of working in a small office environment
*A minimum of 2 years in the travel industry and preferably with adventure travel specialisation.
*First hand travel experience to many of the European destinations (please provide comprehensive details or a travel CV)
*Successful track record and a genuine enthusiasm in selling travel
*Excellent attention to detail
*Ability to use initiative and strong relationship development skills
*Great communication and organisation
*Good writing skills
*The ability to react well to taking direction

The Package:

*Starting salary of £26,000 - £29,000
