This is a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Travel Administrator to join a tour operator in South Essex. This role would ideally suit someone looking to start or restart a career in the travel industry.
THE JOB:
*Processing all trade enquires including brochure requests, promotional materials and marketing support requests.
*Running weekly trade sales reports and analysing all sales activities
*Ensuring all data is loaded onto the trade database.
*Proofing of all marketing materials from Tour Operators and Travel Agents
*Organise, administer and attend all trade visit/Fam Trip programmes
*Produce weekly offer updates for key partners.
*Update key partner systems with special offers.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
*Previous experience within the travel industry is preferred
*Travel and Tourism or Business Admin College leaver or graduate
*Must be able to work under their own initiative plus manage and prioritise their workload
*A strong communicator
*A good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Email
*Full driving license
THE PACKAGE:
In return the successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £14,000 - £18,000 depending on experience, excellent benefits and opportunities for personal and professional development.
HOURS:
*Standard office hours are Monday to Friday from 09.00 to 17.30hrs - Although this is only occasionally, evening and weekend work may be required to cover promotional events, exhibitions and press days ( a day off in lieu will be provided)
