Leading International Company who provide travel and logistics solutions to the Film & Music Industry are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivables and Commissions Assistant, to join their team in Manchester city centre (the option to work on a hybrid basis part-office/part-home). You will be responsible for a variety of accounts receivable and commission controller tasks, within the UK Finance team and supporting the wider function alongside many accounting colleagues. This comes with a super competitive starting salary of circa £25kpa - £28k pa dependent on experience, plus additional benefits detailed in (the package)! Job Description:

  • Raising and checking invoices for accuracy before distribution
  • Facilitating enquiries in the relevant mailboxes and providing query resolution
  • Assisting operational agents with queries and invoicing
  • Periodic (daily, weekly, monthly) reporting for internal stakeholders
  • Working closely with the Transactions Manager and assisting with additional tasks for aspects of credit control in their absence
  • Posting and allocating daily cash
  • Analysing, monitoring and managing company aged-debt
  • Liaising with hotel clients to chase outstanding debt
  • Collaborating with the Agents and wider finance team
  • Assisting with month-end routines and year-end accounts including related audit preparation
  • Assisting with bank account reconciliations as and when required
  • Helping test/prepare new system implementations

Experience Required:

Accounts Receivable and/or Collections experience and working knowledge of Excel and full Microsoft Office Suite is essential for this role. Additional desirable experience: Accounts Payable experience, Accounting experience within the travel industry, Travcom or other finance travel packages
