My client is currently looking to recruit an Account Management to look after the UK & Northern Europe, this would be working for a travel software & expenses company who are based in Surrey. As the Account Manager you would be responsible for the on-going success and partnership of specific customers within an assigned customer base in the UK & Northern Europe so this will include UK and overseas travel. You will have responsibility for key client accounts and achievement of sales objectives in terms of revenue growth by identifying opportunities to grow the business and enhance profitability, on-going retention and reference ability/satisfaction as well as building, cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with key Partners to assist them in developing their business and prospective client base. This exciting new Account Manager role comes with a great basic salary and an amazing OTE in the region of £77500 plus other amazing company benefits!
THE JOB:
*Achieving personal sales objectives by leading revenue growth programs to drive up-sell, cross-sell, renewals and new opportunities
*Cultivate and expand existing business relationships through frequent communication and customer and partner visits
*Developing and conducting quarterly business reviews with customers and partners carrying out regular face to face meetings with key stakeholders
*Identify and execute business strategies that contribute to the success of the key metrics of the position - opportunities for customer expansion, retention and customer satisfaction
*Partner with Regional Sales Executives to establish strong relationships with senior contacts that are involved in major account activities
*Work with customers and partners at various stages of maturity, developing net new customers relationships as well as expanding relationships within existing accounts to new groups
*Complete and execute customer account plans, prepare and deliver presentations, negotiate and prepare pricing proposals for sales contracts
*Prepare sales forecast on a monthly basis, update Salesforce with details of customer quotes and pipeline management ensuring that all strategic account development plans for each customer are continually updated with all current and relevant information, including mutual objectives, performance reviews and contact records
*Collaborate and respond to customer and partner/prospect customer RFP's within submission deadline date
*Achieve client satisfaction and retention objectives
*Responsible for developing problem resolution that optimises company profitability while maintaining client retention; Identify and prioritise client issues/concerns; coordinate with service management to provide response and or solutions
THE CANDIDATE:
*Excellent communicator that can engage and motivate people with demonstrated experience in making formal presentations to C-level management
*Essential Core Skills/Position Requirements
*Must be a strong team player that can work collaboratively across multiple teams
*Ability to travel frequently
*Establish, develop and maintain strong trusting relationships with assigned customers to maximise satisfaction and retention levels
*Prepare professional business review documentation and agree financial aspects of contracts in consultation with the Director, Account Management Northern Europe
*Ensure the best interests of both customers, the company and their parent company are being fairly and objectively represented
*Acts as an escalation point to the customer in the event of unresolved questions or issues
*Identify and prioritise client issues/concerns; coordinate with appropriate internal departments to provide response and or solutions
*Cultivate and continually maintain and develop in-depth relationships throughout the company; with a strong focus on collaborating with Service Management, Consulting, Product Management and Finance in order to discuss accounts and maximise revenue maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction
*Execute on internal projects involving assigned customer accounts
*Manage multiple tasks, manage deadlines and follow-up both internally and externally
Qualifications:
*Business Degree Preferred
*Minimum of five years consecutive experience in a business travel related role with proven travel technology experience, revenue target responsibility, managing client and partner relationships with proven demonstrated consistent success
*Extensive knowledge of business travel industry related products and must be highly technically adept
THE PACKAGE:
