Specialist independent Travel Company based in West Cheshire who provide airfares and ancillaries to the Travel Industry, are seeking a Tour Operator Systems Executive to provide support and be recognised as a subject matter expert for their tour operating reservations system Travelink. You will be responsible for maintaining a High standard of data quality and accuracy throughout the system and be responsible for the day to day running of the Travelink Helpdesk answering any queries that may arise. This is an excellent opportunity to work in an expanding area of the business for someone who has strong customer support skills, along with excellent travel systems knowledge. JOB DESCRIPTION:
*Provide expert help , advice and support for Travelink and associated systems
*Investigate technical queries and problems and liaise with Travelink's Customer Support team to resolve issues
*Assist with the development and testing of new system functionality and User Acceptance Testing on updates
*Suggest improvements to systems where necessary
*Provide Travelink training with new staff
*Quality control of data entered in to Travelink and associated reservations systems
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
The successful candidate will have previous Travel Industry experience, ideally within a Tour Operations environment and have good working knowledge of Travelink. You will have an inquisitive mindset and enjoy investigating and solving problems, whilst always being committed to delivering excellent customer service.
THE PACKAGE:
You will be offered a competitive basic salary (dependent on experience), plus bonus and benefits including 22 days holiday, rising to 25 with service. This is an exciting time to join, with excellent career prospects!
