Multi-faceted Travel Company, based in the Birmingham area, is keen to recruit a Ticketing Consultant to work on an all-round, GDS ticketing role. You will be experienced in Ticketing on a Native GDS such as Amadeus, Galileo & Sabre, and in return you will work for a well-established company that covers airfares, tour operations, retail and corporate travel. This is an initial 9 month contract and salary is dependent on experience but in the region of £22k pa!

JOB DESCRIPTION:
-Ensure that tickets are issued within deadlines
-Ensure that all re-issues are completed within deadlines.
-Ensure that all queues are kept up to date including: schedule changes, general, web, native and re-issues,
-Ensure that all Q's are checked at the end of the day to ensure that all tickets have been issued.
-Issue refunds
-Cover the OOH desk from home on a rota basis
-Utilise your knowledge airline fare rules
-Assist with a variety of ticketing queries

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
You will be a fully proficient GDS Ticketer from a Tour Operator, Business Travel or Airline background, ideally fully conversant on Amadeus GDS. You will have 360 ticketing experience and be able to handle issuing and refunding tickets, with solid all-round airfare knowledge.

THE PACKAGE:
This is an initial 9 month contract but there could be opportunity to extend or be made permanent. Salary is dependent on experience but circa £22k pa, but with additional overtime pay for out of hours support and additional benefits.
