This successful and ambitious travel company (inbound) are seeking an experienced group operations team leader/supervisor to join the team and contribute to the growth and success of the business. You will be a fluent Spanish-speaker as the focus of this role will be on the Spanish market.

Summary of Role:

*To provide guidance, instruction, direction and leadership to the team for the purpose of achieving the financial targets set.
*To monitor the quantitative and qualitative achievements of the team and report results regularly to management.
*To make sure clients pending and confirmed groups are managed correctly by the various teams, within time lines given.
*To proactively nurture a culture of responsibility among the team members and ensure that they are meeting and exceeding targets.
*To assist with setting targets for your team and regularly monitor the cycle of work from product to requests to quotation, follow up, confirmations, making sure the process is always followed through in order to maximise the number of confirmations.
*To run regular reports and update your staff accordingly as well as communicate with sales and management.
*To bring out the best in your team members and ensure they are working to the best of their ability
*To be a role model for your team to look up to
*Ensure that tourplan is being used correctly and that your team members know the benefits and correct way of using the system
*To work with the sales team with regards to improving ratio of conversations, setting regular meetings at team level to discuss improvements and setting a very open culture of constructive criticism to allow improvements for all in a vertical open and clear manner.
*Special offers to go out regularly at the correct times in coordination with the marketing and communication manager, reporting with sales regularly to asses state of targets for the year.
*To assist in the recruiting process for your team.

Key skills required:

*Fluency in English and Spanish is essential and a third language would be advantageous
*A minimum of 4 years' experience in an inbound operator in a groups role.
*Excellent knowledge of the UK as a destination
*Ability to create tailor made itineraries as well as working on series groups
*Ability to work as part of a team, managing the team members and their performance based on targets set yearly.
*Proven experience of preparing quotes and operating groups.
*Assessment of daily and weekly workloads, to balance the different projects among team members.
*Ability to manage people by setting a culture of self-discipline, responsibility and freedom.
*To drive Targets, set cycles of assessments of performances.
*Ability to build relationships with clients and suppliers at senior level
