Senior Villa Specialist - Gloucestershire! Do you have an eye for detail and experience as a Travel Sales Specialist? Are you looking to progress your travel career with a well respected travel company? An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Travel Consultant to join this friendly team based in Gloucestershire to specialise in selling luxury villas. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a well established, luxury tour operator. This role is to provide a professional, friendly and informative sales service to the customers that is focused on offering the highest level of customer service possible. You will be experienced in offering expert product knowledge and have the skills to tailor your clients requirements.

THE JOB:

• To proactively ensure familiarity with all products developments in your region - most specially those promoted on the company website, in brochures, magazines and any other marketing collateral, including special offers.
• To routinely attend product training sessions, including participating on company sponsored educational trips.
• Attend and actively participate in all learning opportunities, offering your expertise to the training team where requested in order to increase knowledge across the business. Ensure that quotes are produced and delivered to the client within 24hrs - if this is not possible, then the client must be kept up to date with progress.
• To maintain an efficient, professional and friendly relationship with the client throughout the booking process. Maintain regular contact with clients (and travel agents) to keep them informed of progress and the status of booking, including updating on developments. Reliably follow all company processes and procedures to ensure maximum efficiency.

• Additionally, you should also look to make recommendations for enhancements.
• Actively participate in, and implement learning from, all available hard and soft skills training.
• Provide cover for absent colleagues so that service delivery to clients is seamless and maintained.
• Provide support to your team and sales manager with other files as required. Proactively manage the progress of itineraries from initial quote through to bookings and repeat business - specifically following-up all itinerary proposals sent to clients to ensure maximum conversion to bookings in order to maximise revenue and profit. This involves the very deliberate application of sales techniques.
• Be aware of individual and team sales targets, always working to ensure these are achieved or exceeded Applicants will be a team player and possess a keen eye for detail, be passionate about the travel industry and have travel industry sales experience, it is vital that you have experience in selling villa holidays. The successful candidate will be rewarded with an excellent salary of £23,000k depending on experience plus you can expect excellent commission plus the company benefits here are amazing! The working hours are either Mon-Fri 9am - 5.30pm or Mon- Fri 9.30am - 6pm plus on average 8 Saturdays per year which are paid additional to your basic salary!
