An exciting time for our client who are a successful travel company based in South West London and they are seeking a Product Support Executive to join their growing team.

The Job:

 Assist the Australasia, Middle East & Canada Product Manager (PM) with the planning and costing of groups & private journey's; writing copy, loading rates; writing and updating of 'How to Book Notes'; producing the Master Itineraries.
 Monitor and update Travel Notes so contents remain current and accurate.
 Create and load new text blocks onto Dhruv (in-house system) as required.
 Assist in any operational matters arising from the day-to-day activities of the product regions
 Monitor the FCO Travel Advice and react to changes, as instructed by the PM.
 Assist the PM with competitor analysis.
 Assist the PM with Middle East allocations for both land and air services.
 Oversee and manage FIT tariffs.
 Provide support for the sales team - assist the PM in training new consultants and day to day with product queries.
 Write letters to clients concerning flight/hotel/itinerary changes.
 Responsible for the non-brochure website content for relevant product regions, identify and research the additional content to add to the site. Copy-writing; sourcing images and costing up additional content.
 Liaising with the PM to establish special offers for the website, ensuring a steady flow of offers - costing and writing copy for these offers.
 Research projects as instructed by the PM for new product.
 Assist PM with all aspects of brochure production including post-brochure administration
 Attend supplier/tourist board meetings, product workshops and trade shows where applicable
 Monitor post-tour questionnaires and raise any potential issues that need addressing with PM
 Liaise with hotels to gain brochure contributions
 Assist PM with adhoc groups


Experience/Skills Required:

 Experience in planning and costing itineraries, with a minimum of two years' experience in this field
 A good knowledge of Australasia or Middle East destinations
 An understanding of the operational issues associated with the area.
 Good copy writing skills
 Good level of numeracy
 Proactive and good use of initiative
 High level of organisational skills
 Excellent communication skills
 Excellent attention to detail
 Experience of working in a team an advantage
 Computer literate
 Experience of CRS and Galileo an advantage
 Educated to at least 'A' Level standard, although if more experienced in work will consider educated to GCSE/ 'O' Level standard.

The Package:
My client is offering a competitive salary package from £28,000 to £30,000 dependent on experience.
