A well-known and established Tour Operator based just south of the river are looking for a Personal Travel Expert to join their sales team.

Position Summary:

To achieve agreed sales targets, convert enquiries into firm sales, demonstrate good product knowledge and deliver exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

*Monitor & answer telephone calls (include corporate welcome and departure drill); handle all e-mails, written and personal enquiries from customers relating to new / existing bookings & web-bookings
*Generate bookings in accordance with procedure, paying close attention to detail in order to minimise errors and lost revenue
*Confirm bookings by providing appropriate documents to the customer within agreed timescales
*Respond to requests and enquiries relating to all aspects of our product and provide accurate advice to inform customer decision making
*Contribute to the customer's complete satisfaction.
*Aim to resolve all issues as far as possible within limits of authority and escalate complaints to more senior staff when appropriate. Give correct resolution timeframes for any call backs required
*Achieve minimum agreed sales targets and maximise revenue potential by up-selling on bookings and identify opportunities for additional product sales
*Keep customer informed of all changes, improvements and opportunities relating to their booking

Role Requirements:

*Previous experience of achieving personal sales targets within a call centre or retail environment
*Knowledge of both long-haul & short-haul destinations
*A working knowledge of basic Microsoft applications
*Exceptional customer service skills
*A high standard of verbal and written communication skills
*A professional and friendly manner. Approachable to both colleagues and customers
*Ability to relate to our experienced and discerning travellers


Package:

£22,000 salary + commission.
Hours are Monday - Friday, 9am-5.30pm with 2 Saturdays (10am-2pm) worked in roughly every 5 week period.
