This leading Travel company are seeking an experienced Operations & Ticketing Manager to join their highly successful organisation. The successful Operations & Ticketing Manager will be responsible for managing a team of professional travel consultants. The experienced manager must have a strong leadership background. It is vital that the successful candidate possess a proactive and can-do attitude, not afraid to get stuck in straight away and able to confidentially guide the team. Duties and Responsibilities:
*Daily line and performance management, motivation and development of the team
*Daily operational updates with peers escalating issues where appropriate
*Conduct regular reviews and annual appraisals for all team members, identifying and delivering any training requirements and performance improvement measures
*To coach and mentor team members in order to develop and improve performance
*Conduct monthly probation review meetings in line with policy for all new starters
*To investigate escalated customer complaints or issues to satisfactory resolution
*To manage the recruitment and selection process
Skills Required:
*Previous people management experience essential.
*Good written and verbal communication skills
*Works well under pressure - calm and professional at all times
*Good knowledge of GDS, airfares, reissues, how to read PNR history,
*Confident, decisive, clear thinking, positive attitude
The Package:
This position is offering a competitive basic salary £32,000 - £36,000 DOE, and the opportunity to enhance your career with in this dynamic and forward-thinking corporate travel company.
