A well-known and established Tour Operator based just south of the river are looking for a Marketing Assistant to join their growing Marketing Team.

Key Responsibilities:

*Working closely with the Marketing Coordinator loading new tours, image resizing and uploading, and daily updating (i.e. itinerary changes, homepage promotions, special offers, late availability)
*Proofing newly loaded tours on the website
*Assistance with website developments, including adding floodlight tags, creating landing pages and making changes to the CSS in the CMS (Tigerbay)
*Analysing website performance in Google Analytics and call reporting in Infinity
*Assistance with the creation of weekly/bi-weekly emails using an external email platform (Red Circle Digital) including continuous testing and analysis
*Working closely with the Marketing Coordinator and digital agency, checking and approving ad word campaigns
*Assistance with the SEO strategy, including assisting with on-site optimisation including meta descriptions, page titles, headings and page content to enhance rankings
*Working closely with the Marketing Executive and design department, coordinating the production of offline adverts including copy writing, editing and proof reading
*Working with the Design team to brief online display creative
*General administration such as uploading brochure requests, processing invoices, research and in-depth analysis of campaigns
*Occasional assistance with Social Media

Experience & Skills:

*At least 2 years' experience working with a customer facing website
*Online marketing qualification
*Previous experience of working with Content Management Systems (Tigerbay advantageous)
*Knowledge of HTML and Dreamweaver advantageous
*Google Analytics knowledge and experience
*Experience in using Photoshop
*knowledge of PPC/SEO
*CSS experience advantageous
*Excellent command of the English language is essential
*Good copy writing skills
*Good proofing skills
*Good analytical skills essential
*Ability to work to tight deadlines
*Ability to work alone and as part of a team
*Ability to manage own workflow, with good time management skills
*Good communication and reporting and skills
*Travel industry experience advantageous

Package:

This exciting new role is a Monday - Friday (slightly flexible hours) position paying a basic salary of £25,000.
