My client, a global travel company are looking to expand their Business Travel team and offering full training and support to Junior Business Travel Consultants. As a Business Travel Consultant, you will be delivering exceptional travel services to Corporate clients.

DUTIES:

• Acting as Travel Advisor and Consultant to Corporate Business travellers.
• Arranging complex domestic and international business travel for air, road, rail and accommodation, using Sabre/Apollo/Amadeus.
• Providing consultative advice, solutions and recommendations.
• Researching the best available fare/routing, and ensuring preferred air carrier and partners are recommended, whilst ensuring adherence to the customers agreed travel policy and requirements.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• A minimum of 2 years travel industry experience (corporate or leisure)

• Working knowledge of a GDS system is essential (Sabre, Galileo or Amadeus)
• Fares knowledge of both nett and published airfares preferable
• Exceptional worldwide flights knowledge coupled with good selling skills to handle new airfare contracts etc.
• A fast and flexible working attitude

PACKAGE:

• The salary package on offer for this position of Business Travel Consultant includes a basic salary of £26,000 to £28,000 (subject to experience and location)

WORKING HOURS

• Working hours will operate Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 6pm alongside the office hours.
