Contract Executive - Adventure Travel

Are you passionate about adventure travel, love the youth market and have previously contracted product for a tour operator, if you answer yes yes yes then we want to hear from you. My amazing client is looking to recruit for two new Contract Executive roles within a thriving travel brand.

The Job:
This exciting role sources and contracts accommodation and services for European product range. The right candidate will be an exceptional negotiator with strong communication and influencing abilities.
This role requires a thorough understanding of travel product development, procurement, negotiation, benchmarking and competitor movement from a group touring perspective.
The role builds strong long-term relationships with our suppliers to ensure that services are contracted with competitive rates in line with the contracting guidelines and product direction.
The role demands a keen eye for detail to ensure thorough benchmarking is completed, and COS management is accurately achieved.
Where necessary the role will require some travel to source suppliers, inspect properties, negotiate contracts and develop partnerships with suppliers. A thorough attention to detail is needed to accurately proof contracting documents, schedules and content. The role will take a proactive approach to improving and streamlining contracting processes.

Experience Required:
The ideal candidate will come from an established role within a travel brand or tour operator where they have contracted travel related product.
A proven strong contracting and rate analysis background.
Excellent negotiation skills with suppliers.
Strong with handling client relationships.
A financial, commercial and procurement acumen.
Ability to problem solve and use analytical tools.
Detailed knowledge of the travel industry ideally within group touring.
Knowledge with Jira, Travel Studio and Microsoft Excel systems.

The Package:
The salary for this Contract Executive will be up to £33,000 per annum plus excellent company benefits and progression opportunities.

Other Information:
Working Monday to Friday
Some travel away from office may also be required.
