An exciting opportunity to join a Manchester based Niche Tour Operator as a Commercial Manager. Have you worked in travel? This is a newly created role for our client, where you will manage the commercial relationships with existing partners. These maybe travel businesses, media partners or sports/event organisers. Job Description:
*Work with partners to promote Sports Tours' brands as per agreements we make with them, which could be with national sporting associations.
*Develop and manage the working relationship with publishing channels to capitalise on opportunities, liaising with the marketing department as to their needs.
*Work closely with tourist boards to create opportunities for promotion or securing fund for marketing.
*Working with the Operations team, to liaise with event owners to deepen our relationship beyond a simple purchase of entries.
*Source and develop partnerships with other third parties for mutual benefit, particularly with affiliate relationships.
*Develop white label solutions for third parties using our products and our IT resources.
*Work closely with our PR agency to take advantage of any new leads and develop the potential opportunities.
*Ensure the internal teams are aware of developments so they can feed into the process and help shape the relationships.

Experience Required:
*Commercial and/or marketing experience, preferably with a knowledge of travel and sports
*Experience working in the Travel Industry
*Commercial acumen
*Language skills, such as French or Spanish (an advantage)
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Strong planning capability
*Approachable and willing to work as part of a team

Salary is dependent on experience, up to £25k (negotiable depending on experience) and comes with an excellent benefits package including, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, health care, pension, travel discounts.
