Are you passionate about a career in the Travel Industry and seeking an exciting Travel Consultant position in the Irvine area? A leading established independent travel agency, which continues to grow, is seeking both experienced Travel Consultants, and those who have a demonstrable passion for Travel who would like a career in the Travel Industry. We have opportunities in and around Irvine, to work as a Travel Consultant for this successful travel brands, where you will be selling worldwide holidays, with a competitive salary, commission and long term career opportunities!
JOB DESCRIPTION:
-Working in a Retail Travel store, dealing with customers face to face and over the phone, offering excellent customer service
-Quoting a wide range of holidays from packages to tailor-made to suit your customers' need
-Converting quotes into confirmed bookings and working to exceed sales targets
-Keeping your product and brand knowledge up to date whilst having in- depth knowledge of the company's destinations.
-Working hours vary dependent on the branch but are usually Monday - Sunday day time hours with weekends will be on a rota basis (some branches may require evenings on a rota basis too)
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
We are seeking candidates that have previous experience as a Travel Agent, looking for a new challenge and a company they can develop with. However consideration will be given to those candidates that are seeking a career in the Travel Industry and can demonstrate their commitment to this. For example those candidates who have travelled extensively and have target driven sales experience, those candidates in related industries such as: cabin crew, hotel reservations, airport check-in etc.
THE PACKAGE:
A starting salary of the national living wage/minimum wage through to £18000, dependent on experience is available for the successful candidate. Additional benefits include educationals and incentives are also on offer, including long term career opportunity due to the huge presence of this leading travel company
