This is an amazing opportunity to join a fantastic company at a very exciting time. You, as Business Development Executive would work within the really friendly Business Development Team.
The overall purpose of your job is to support member partners and the field based BDM's. This is a critical role. You will be assisting the BDM's to help them plan for their business meetings with our members. You will also be handling calls and email from member partners on a variety of industry topics.
Experience requirements:
*Successfully delivering against business targets in various areas
*Building strong relationships with member partners and the BD team
*Being comfortable liaising with members and helping to address their needs
*Occasional contact with members of the public
*Being comfortable working with different systems
*Having a good understanding of how a travel retail environment works along with good knowledge of the industry regulations (ABTA & ATOL)
*Being able to work under pressure and to important deadlines
*Juggling a variety of tasks and prioritising the most important
*Delivering great customer service
*Well versed in member engagement
*A natural and easy communicator
*Naturally enthusiastic and committed
*Knowledgeable and aware of the business & products
*An excellent team player (especially considering the team is on the road a lot)
*Interested in your own self-development
*Creative and yet analytical at the same time
*Commercially aware
*Able to work independently with a level of autonomy
*An excellent problem solver and decision maker
*Full of direction and purpose
*An excellent planner and organiser
*Able to adapt and work flexibly
The Package:
The successful applicant can expect a very competitive salary of £25-30k plus great additional company benefits.
