The login box never appears

Are you using a supported web browser?
Not all web browsers work. See the System Requirements [Link to System Requirement] page for the list of operating systems and browsers that are supported.

Is your web browser configured for Java?
Java must be enabled. Adjust your browser's options or preferences so that Java is enabled.

Does your computer have a domain name server?
Your computer must have a domain name server. Some computers behind proxy servers do not have their own domain name servers. The proxy server has a domain name server, but the computers behind do not. Adjust your computer's network settings to point to a domain name server.


The login box appears, but I don't know what to do next.

The User ID field
Type your user ID in the box provided. Your user ID consists of 5 or 6 digits.

The Password field
Type your password in the box provided. Your password consists of letters & numbers, but will appear as asterisks (*) as you type.

The "Start At" field
The third field is used to select your starting location within the program. One of the options is "Automatic", which will place you where you were when you last logged off. This option is not valid the first time you log in, and you must use the drop down list box to choose another starting location. For all subsequent log ins, be sure to use the "Automatic" option to resume training at your last location.

The Log In button
Press this button after you have typed in your user ID, password, and have selected your starting location. After a moment or two, the VIASINC Online Interactive program window will appear on the screen. Your training will take place from within this window.

Nothing happens when you press the log in button or you get an error message.

Do you have a valid user ID and password?
You must possess a valid user ID and password. There is no such thing as a "guest" or "anonymous" user ID. You must select a course from the Course Catalogue and register at Registration. A user ID and password will be sent to you via e-mail.

Do you see the message "Resubmit with airport code?"

Enter the three-letter code of the closest airport. The system needs a three-letter airport code to initialize certain settings. This needs to be done only once, the first time you log in.
