A leading cruise liner has taken Antigua off its schedule due to the rising crime. Following the murder of a passenger last month, Star Clippers will now be bypassing the island on future journeys.

According to the Telegraph, carnival Cruise lines also removed Antigua off its itinerary after several of its passengers had altercations with local police. Meanwhile, the Foreign Office has issued a warning to prospective visitors that there has been an increase in violent crime in the country in the past few months.
