Are you a Travel Consultant who is truly passionate about travel? Can you take a client's holiday ideas and create their dream holiday? This is an excellent opportunity for a Travel Consultant to join a leading tour operator based in South Essex. KEY DUTIES OF THE TRAVEL CONSULTANT:
*Tailor make travel itineraries and to convert enquiries into bookings
*Ensure sales targets are met and exceeded
*Deliver excellent customer service
*Ensure enquiries are dealt with in a helpful and precise manner ascertaining requirements.
*Process on line bookings
*Offer travel solutions based on clients requirements
*Tailor itineraries to meet specific client's requests.
*Adhere to deadlines.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
*Minimum 1 years sales experience within the travel industry
*Travel knowledge of long haul destinations and Scheduled Airlines desired.
*Galileo GDS desired, but not essential.
*Good sales techniques and an excellent telephone manner
*Experience working to targets
*Attention to detail and the ability work under pressure
THE PACKAGE:
*Competitive basic salary of £16k - £20k plus fantastic commission and an OTE of £28k - 36k
*Monday - Saturday, on a shift rota; 9am - 17:30
*Discounts for your own holiday
*Educationals and fam trips
*28 days paid holiday (including bank holidays), increasing to up 33 days for long service
