Are you an Assistant / Branch manager who is truly passionate about travel? are you wanting to work for a Luxury Tour Operator who specialise in Long Haul Travel?
My client are looking for a Team leader to join there busy team. you will be working for a well-established travel company where you can build your career and progress.

The Team Leader's role is to increase sales performance through coaching and support across the entire Sales function (Call Centre, Homebased and Online).
Working alongside Sales Support and the Sales Coordinators and supporting the Personal travel advisors in handling quote volume and achieving contact deadlines. Monitoring and driving the achievement of customer service standards and sales performance, through personal development, task allocation, and the reporting of information and providing feedback to the Sales Manager.
Directly responsible for the personal development of 5-9 Travel consultants at any given time; One on one coaching, training, goal setting, performance improvement plans and target achievement.

Tasks and responsibilities
*Setting weekly and monthly targets for individuals to encourage continual personal development.
*Measuring the performance of individuals against KPIs; rewarding achievers and working with underperformers to improve.
*Conducting regular one to one and/or coaching sessions, and quarterly or annual performance reviews.
*Addressing mistakes and putting tangible measures in place to avoid future occurrences.
*Providing on the floor coaching, feedback and support.
*Creating and championing an atmosphere which is motivational, collaborative and productive.
*Responding to or helping the agents to answer questions or queries themselves.
*Conducting informative and motivational huddles.
*Monitoring live, promising, complete etc. to ensure processes are being followed and excellent customer service prevails.
*Monitoring call/enquiry flow, answering overflow calls and assisting wherever needed to ensure efficient customer service.
*Driving knowledge building and sharing; allocating fam trips, identifying training needs, arranging follow up and circulation of information afterwards.
*Making Sales Support aware when agents are on annual leave or absent, and ensuring they are briefed on necessary information upon their return.
*Responding to Sales Team Questions and Queries.
*Handling complaints and escalations, speaking with customers to help close the sale, answer questions or provide reassurance.
*Working sales support to manage the handover. Conducting informative and motivational huddles.
*Updating and preparing performance reports for the Sales Manager
*Observing and providing feedback that will help to optimise procedures within the Sales Department.
*Observing and providing feedback on call, enquiry flow and staffing numbers.
Experience needed:
Management within travel is essential, including team leader, assistant manager, branch manager and a customer service manager.

Hours, Salary and Benefits
*Starting Salary £20,500 - £23,000
*Plus monthly bonus, based on performance
*Salary increases based on personal performance
*Working hours include every third weekend, 1-2 late shifts per week (12:15- 21:30) and some bank holidays
*32 days holiday, rising to 35 with service
