My client is a very successful tour operator based in the North East Surrey, they are currently recruiting for Sales Support Executive who will be responsible for supporting the company's sales effort, the role is customer focused with the ability to work collaboratively and under your own initiative. You will have the ability to manage tasks and work to deadlines is central to the role, liaising with individual Account Managers plus partners in the Retail and National newspaper arena is a key element. This role comes with a fantastic basic salary, sociable working hours and you will be part of a very well establish team working for a great travel company!

THE JOB;
*Provide administrative support for management, account managers and act as a point of contact for the company's retail and newspaper partnerships
*Answer incoming calls and emails from newspaper and travel agent partnerships and deal with the matters arising
*Deal with matters arising from SCS pertinent to retail and national newspapers
*Regularly proof read regional and national advertisements and other marketing material
*Participate in sales initiatives and campaigns, particularly in ensuring accuracy in the detail and final sign off
*Supply of automated weekly and monthly client booking updates, reports and data provision
*Update advert schedules
*Provide sales copy and images as requested by those clients that produce their own artwork
*Attend regular client meetings
*Keep up to date with current offers and promotions
*Any other ad hoc duties as directed assisting Sales when time allows

THE CANDIDATE:
*Customer focused
*Very high level of accuracy and attention to detail with excellent proof-reading skills
*Provide excellent customer service and a professional telephone manner
*Excellent organisational skills with the flexibility to meet changing priorities as the need dictates
*Able to assimilate several tasks, adhere to strict deadlines and work methodically
*Able to work well under pressure
*Good Excel, Word and Internet knowledge to be able to provide the varied reporting needed
*Able to form and sustain excellent working relationships internally and externally at a variety of levels
*A team player with excellent analytical and communication skills
*Able to flag issues and problems and look for solutions
THE PACKAGE:
The successful candidate for this new Sales Support Executive role can expect a competitive basic salary in the region of £19000 - £24000 plus company benefits, they hours of work are Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm.
