My client, a leading travel company with retail branches throughout the UK, are looking for a full time, senior member of staff for their busy retail location in Barnsley. The ideal candidate will be a high calibre travel consultant with good travel knowledge/experience and identify high standards of customer service. The role will involve creating tailor-made packages to suit the customer's needs. The ideal candidate must have previous travel experience and ideally a strong knowledge of long-haul travel.

Skills and experience required:

*Experience of working in a retail environment
*Proven background and ability in arranging tailor-made worldwide travel itineraries
*Experience working with a GDS (Sabre, Galileo or Amadeus) would be desirable but not essential
*Passionate about travel
*Professional face to face and telephone manner and highly customer service focussed
*Proven ability to build rapport with customers
*Strong attention to detail
*Ability to meet and exceed targets
*A team player who enjoys a challenge, and able to work under own initiative
*Working hours are 5 day week on a rota basis between Monday-Saturday
