I am currently recruiting for Contracts Executives for my client who are a growing tour operator based in the Swindon area, I am keen to hear from you if you have great analytical skills, are able to work under pressure and have experience of working in the travel industry. This fantastic new role would be a great way to step into tour operations if you have worked in a travel agent's, business travel or have a real passion for the travel industry!

Job Purpose:
A key role to manage the operational portfolio and assist in the procurement of worldwide ground stock. Maintain and support the development of international relationships with both individual ground suppliers and destination management companies.
THE JOB:
*Assist with Stock Requests and administer the contract management process including:
*Maintain a filing control for all requests and status for each negotiation.
*Responsible for filing of contracts, loading of rates and ensuring all contractual deadlines are achieved.
*Monitoring of upcoming liabilities to ensure unsold stock is released to suppliers.
*Own Competitor, Market and Year on Year Analysis of contract rates to support contracting negotiations.
*Ensure stock is obtained and loaded to agreed deadlines with UK and International Product teams
*Assist with the collation and analysis of data for each supplier/region on sales, room nights, year on year growth numbers.
*Liaise with the Operations team to ensure the customer journey is not compromised through the buying of ground elements that are 'below quality standards' expected by the company.
*Ensure legal team and systems team are aligned with supplier agreements.
*Support Legal Contracting with Suppliers
*Ensure 'Buying' timetable is maintained and controlled, calls and trips to deliver agreements are in place
*Support business familiarisation trip requests.
*Highlight high / low stock levels requiring action between operation, product teams and Contract Managers.
*Highlight any contractual risks, compliance and issue escalations to Contract Managers.
*Loading ground stock including Bed Nights, Transfers and Tours into internal system (TravelTek System)

Skill set required:
Essential
*Good analytical skills and the ability to relay complex information in a concise way
*Able to work well under pressure, whilst maintaining great attention to detail.
*Great numeracy skills
*Is organised and can take ownership of own work
*Is able to manage and prioritise conflicting demands
*Takes responsibility for own decisions, taking into account risk and impact
*Is able to communicate in a professional and positive manner at all levels
*Build great relationships with both internal and external suppliers both in the UK and overseas
*To have confidence in own ability
*Takes pride in standard of work
*Strong pro-active, dynamic, passionate and a team player.
*Proven track record of organisational planning
*Good standard of general education to GCSE level, particularly in Maths and English.

Desirable

*Educated to A Level standard
*Experience of contract management
*Experience of working in travel or a keen interest in Travel
