A Talented Marketing Executive required for a fantastic and well known Tour Operator. This hands-on role would ideally suit a proven Marketing Executive who is motivated, creative, analytical, proactive and capable of working to tight deadlines.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing the Senior Marketing Executive will be responsible for the end to end delivery of the marketing plan. This role will act 'brand guardian' ensuring delivery of brand values, messaging and positioning. This role is ideal for a high energy and driven personality who can effectively demonstrate their marketing and commercial skills, balancing both creative ideas and structured planning to contribute to strong growth for the business across the UK. This role is responsible for the effective delivery of consumer and trade marketing including eDM and digital activity, partnerships, media advertising, database management and all reporting. This role will also work with designated key accounts/partnerships to drive brand awareness and sales.

THE ROLE
*Responsible for the development and implementation of consumer marketing plans
*Responsibility for development and implementation of trade marketing plans
*Development and co-ordination of end to end consumer and digital marketing projects working with in-house designer and the Digital Alliance for preparation of assets
*Work with digital team to optimise customer website journey; act as the primary liaison in the UK for the roll out of any new content website updates
*Manage the copy writing, briefing, production, proofing, and editing of all consumer marketing communication and collateral
*Manage trade social media strategy and engagement campaigns
*Conduct regular competitor analysis on promotions and marketing released by competitors
*Pitch to National Tourist Boards relevant to our destinations for access to co-op funds and marketing opportunities
*Identify, secure, and develop new partnership/affiliate/agents to grow the business
*Manage the co-ordination and set up of performance tracking for all partnerships, with demonstrable ROI
*Ownership of the key consumer offline campaign activity; work with in-house designed on execution of all assets
*Execute agreed trade campaigns including development of artwork in conjunction with the in-house designer, checking copy details, communicating with sales and reservations, sales and database campaign set up

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
*Relevant travel marketing industry experience
*Experience working with a luxury and/or travel brand (desirable )
*An understanding of travel distribution in the UK desirable
*Strong skills in MS Word & Powerpoint; advanced Excel
*Experience using SalesForce as marketing tool
*Experience with Google Analytics and social media tracking tools
*Ability to build rapport and clearly communicate, both written and verbal at all levels including senior management
*Strong copywriting skills
*Analytical and KPI driven
*Confident negotiator
*Ability to build relationships, both internally and with key partners
