Business Analyst required for a rapidly growing tour operator based in the Swindon area! This role is a fundamental part of the business strategy, supporting decision making on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for analysing and evaluating business systems and user need, documenting requirements, defining scope and objectives and formulating systems to parallel overall business strategies.


THE JOB:
*Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats
*Construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications
*Improve systems by studying current practices; designing modifications
*Recommend controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures
*Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and elements; forming project team; establishing project budget. Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions
*Prepare technical reports by collecting, analysing and summarizing information and trends
*Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
*Perform daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports
*Suggest changes to senior management using analytics to support your recommendations.
*Actively participate in the implementation of approved changes
*Create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement
*Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues


EXPERIENCE:
*Strong Analytical skills and the ability to turn data into information for decision making
*Experience of working in a fast-paced environment and able to deliver under pressure
*Self-driven, with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality
*Proven numerical and analytical skills
*Excellent communicator and team player
*Able to work extended hours on occasions when required
*A quick thinker with a commercial outlook.

THE PACKAGE:
The successful candidate for this Business Analyst role can expect a very competitive salary in the region of £27500 -£30000, this is a full time permanent position working 37.5 hours per week.
