Established Independent Travel Company, who deal with both corporate and leisure travel are seeking an experienced Travel Consultant to join their new retail travel branch in Bristol The lucky candidate will be joining a small team of Travel Consultants who together will be striving to assist the general manager with the day-to-day running of the store whilst hitting and exceeding targets and maintaining a high level of customer service. This is not your average high street retail travel store; you will be providing bespoke tailor makes itineraries worldwide to create their clients perfect holidays!
DUTIES:
* Respond to client enquires promptly whether by phone, email or face to face
* Create inspiring travel itineraries' in a friendly and professional manner
* Explore opportunities to "add value" to every holiday sale
* Ask for the sale with every client itinerary presented
* Deliver a full booking experience providing
* Completing all administration and documentation in a timely manner
* Contribute to company sales targets by achieving and exceeding personal KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
* Build and maintain extensive knowledge of products and services available to our clients
* Attend and contribute to weekly and monthly staff meetings
* Handle all customer service complaints quickly and effectively
* Build and strengthen relationships with key suppliers within the travel industry
* Uphold the company standards at all times
Mon-Fri 9am - 5.30pm, Saturday 9am - 5pm, Sundays & bank holidays - closed
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
* Sound knowledge and experience of the retail travel industry
* Working knowledge of an industry standard GDS, preferably SABRE
* Innovation, enthusiasm, drive and ambition
* Excellent communication & strong organisational skills
* A genuine interest in travel
* Occasional overseas travel will be required
PACKAGE:
