Do you have previous travel experience within a retail or tour operator background? I am seeking a Travel Consultant to join a reputable, established independent Travel Agency. My client has a number of branches across the UK and is offering a fantastic opportunity for a Travel Consultant to join their branch in Essex. This role will suits someone with good Travel Agency experience, excellent customer service and a passion for travel.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
*Working in a branch, with a small team of travel consultants
*Greeting customers face to face and also over the phone
*Quoting on a wide variety of worldwide travel itineraries
*Selling both package and dynamically packaged holidays
*Offering your customer a choice of tour operator, to sell the right holiday for their needs
*Selling additional products and services, such as car hire and travel insurance.
*Working to sales targets to earn commission whilst offering excellent customer service

SKILLS REQUIRED:
*A minimum of 1 years relevant experience within the travel industry
*Passionate about travel and customer service
*Enthusiastic, creative and with a positive attitude

THE PACKAGE:
*Salary is highly competitive, in the region of £14,000 - 16,0000 dependent on experience, plus bonuses

HOURS:
You will be required to work 5 days a week on a rota between Monday - Saturday; 09.00 - 5.30
