Are you a Reservations Consultant, with experience in Tour Operations? Are you a Travel Consultant who loves booking world-wide Holidays and Tours, from the simple to the complex multi-sectors? Do you prefer dealing over the phone? Then this is for you! My client is a leading provider of travel services and world-wide Itineraries. They are currently looking to recruit a Travel Consultant for their expanding office in Manchester city centre, specialising in Tours and tailor-made itineraries to world-wide destinations.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- In the varied role as a Reservations Consultant you will be dealing with a wide variety of world-wide holidays using Galileo
- Main product area is Escorted Tours and River Cruises
- You will be book a mix of return, open jaw, RTW and multi-sector itineraries
- As a Reservations Consultant you will be liaising with agents and the general public in the travel industry
- Working both over the phone and via e-mail, offering excellent customer service.
- Office hours 0900-17.30 Mon-Fri with weekends on a rota basis (time off in lieu)

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Previous Travel industry experience of booking long haul holidays and GDS knowledge is required (Ideally Galileo), along with excellent customer service and sales skills. Consideration may also be given to candidates working as Travel Agents who are keen to work in Tour Operations.

THE PACKAGE:
A starting salary of £16k pa plus excellent commission opportunities. This is an excellent chance to join an established and fast- growing Tour Operator.
