JOB DESCRIPTION: -Working in a small friendly team -Taking enquiries over the phone and email -Work out intricate flight itineraries -Create tailor-made holidays and have the creativity and imagination to do so within the client's budgetary needs -Holidays include couple, friend and family, different budgets from good value for money right up to luxury. -Be service orientated and be prepared to work with client and suppliers whilst on their trip to make it perfect. -This role involves accuracy, quality control, detailed itineraries, double checking everything and a lot of admin work. -Working in a team to meet deadlines. -Be adaptable to be able to do corporate travel bookings -Involvement in marketing / quality control / systems is not essential, but is welcomed if you have the skills! -Excellent working hours 0900-1700 Mon - Friday (with some flexibility as required) EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: The successful candidate will need to be fully conversant on GDS either, Galileo, Sabre or Amadeus and able to put together complex flight itineraries. You will be personable and passionate about travel and also be well-travelled yourself, so you can draw on first-hand knowledge. THE PACKAGE: This is a great opportunity if you love booking more complex, exciting itineraries and you like a varied role that allows you to see a booking through to departure date and beyond, to make the experience perfect and have your clients coming back time and again. It has a competitive basic salary in the region of £22000 - £25000 and excellent working hours, with no evenings or weekends (of course, some flexibility required to ensure your customers have the perfect holiday or smooth-running business trip).
