Senior Tailor-Made Travel Specialist
Do you love selling Luxury Long Haul Journeys, this role involves no shifts, no weekends and no evenings, 5 days per week 9.30 - 5.30. Prior experience in the Luxury long-haul tailor-made travel or cultural tours industry is essential. First-hand knowledge and a true enthusiasm for travelling is paramount .We are a small expanding company, the role is very wide-ranging and there is room for growth depending on your skills and experience.
Job Details:
*Selling a mixture of tailor-made travel and small group tours, the successful candidate must be able to look after all the details of the quote or a tour from start to finish, anticipating customer needs and exceeding their expectations.
*This role is very wide -ranging and there is room for it to grow depending on skills and experience - for example those with and interest in travel writing will be invited to write articles for the online blog as well as brochure wording and other print and online content. We do most of our promotion in-house.
Key Skills
*Excellent destination/Product knowledge in luxury tailor-made or academic group travel (3 or more of Africa , S E Asia , Indian Subcontinent , South America , Middle East , Australasia , USA)
*Experience in the luxury travel market including hotels, ground handlers, airlines, routes and flight reservations and/or experience in the cultural group tours industry.
*Fantastic communication skills , both written and oral commitment to customer service a priority
*Fully computer literate - must have superior working knowledge of MSWord and MS Excel with ability to create own worksheet calculation
*MS Publisher , Adobe Photoshop and/ or Umbraco website content management skills (not essential)
*Attention to detail essential , with ability to compute accurate cost calculation
*A self-starter who is comfortable working with little supervision and who can take responsibility for their trips and clients
*Strong organisation & time management skills

*Salary up to £30,000 plus negotiable sales incentives on top. Paid Fam trips
*5 days per week 9.30 - 5.30
