I am currently looking for a Senior Product Manager for a successful, growing tour operator to work within their Swindon based head office, you will be responsible to oversee the delivery of new product builds into the business, ensuring the quality, appropriateness and volume are sufficient to meet business needs. Your role is to manage the work flow through the department, working closely with the Global Head of Product, Commercial Managers and all other departments to ensure that all work is completed to pre agreed timescales. THE JOB:
*Oversee the management of the team of Product Managers to deliver products as required by the business.
*Develop process and strategy for product build, ensuring efficient timely delivery to deadlines.
*Motivate and drive development in the team.
*Work closely with the Product Development Manager on new product strategies and initiatives.
*Establish working relationships with cruiselines to facilitate the provision of appropriate inventory allocations.
*Lead the review of all products, both commercially and operationally to inform the future requirements.
*Establish clear method for product evolution, ensuring that consistent approach is applied to consider all possibilities.
*Review the competition regularly, understanding where opportunities and threats to our products exist, updating the business and plans for the department accordingly.
*Articulate the current priority and plans for the Product team at regular forums when required.
*Deputise for the Global Head of Product as and when required.
*Work closely with the Commercial Managers to ensure effective delivery of new products.

*Strong leadership skills to drive development and performance of the team
*Process-orientated individual who seeks to drive efficiency from the team
*A high level of organisational skills, for both self and others
*Strong negotiation skills to deliver win-win results
*A confident individual, with the ability to present both internally and to external suppliers
*Commercially astute, numerate and comfortable with analytics, pricing, negotiating, ROI and yield management
*Able to self-motivate, comfortable working as part of a dynamic team and able to show individual initiative
*Strong cross-functional relationship builder, using influencing skills to ensure delivery
*Experience of working in a fast-paced environment and able to deliver under pressure
*Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities
