Great opportunity for a Senior Operations Executive to join an amazing travel company in London.
The Job:
*Answering telephone, with knowledge and politeness. Filtering phone calls.
*Obtaining letters of invitation, visa authorisation codes or any other documentation required by the client in order for them to be apply for any required visa
*Processing client booking forms
*Taking client payments and issuing receipts
*Chasing final balances
*Managing the internal queue for FIT visa requirements
*Supervising the Client Support Department, when the Client Support Manager is not available
*Processing booking cancellation and emailing or posting client cancellation invoices
*Making sure any pre and post tour confirmations are included in travel documents
*Checking travel documents and final itineraries before they are sent to the client.
*Making sure visa instruction templates for tailor made clients are correct and up-to-date
*Issuing and Ticketing Group Tour Flights
*Managing the company post and processing brochures and post them
*General Office admin
*Representing the company at trade shows, slide shows and events; such as WTM and AITO
*Participating in training events and overseas FAM trips
*Contributing and assisting in other areas of the company as required
Skills Required:
*Ability to set and work to deadlines.
*Good knowledge of travel geography, Itineraries and visas.
*Attention to detail, ability to plan.
*Able to work on own initiative.
*Customer Service capabilities, able to deal with a variety of clients.
*Multi-tasking skills.
*Patience and persistence in dealing with foreign countries and getting answers.
*Excellent Telephone manner, clear speaking voice.
*Excellent organisation/communication/interpersonal skills.
*Good presentation, clean and tidy.
*Computer Literate.
*Numerate, able to prepare client invoices and receipts.
*Ability to deal with clients and agents face to face.
*Understanding of what the adventure/cultural traveller wants to experience.
*General Knowledge and interest in travel
The Package:
*Competitive Salary £24,000 to £26,000 PA
*22 days holiday per year
*Travel insurance on company and personal overseas trips
*Cycle 2 work scheme
*Company Pension (3% employer contribution and 5% employee contribution
*Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm or 09:30am to 6:00pm but flexibility required. The senior client support executive will be expected to work on a later shift - from 11.30am to 8pm - a maximum of 5 days per month. Also, be required to participate in the office Saturday rota with a maximum of 5 Saturdays a year.
