Do you have good administration experience working within the travel/hospitality industry? Our client, a well known incoming tour operator and is seeking an experienced Sales Administrator to join their multicultural and expanding team in City of London. Your core responsibility will be to efficiently provide administrative support to Sales departments and client's aswell as providing client updates on booking Statuses. Duties: *Tariff system Maintenance: Exclusions, Adjustments, Special Offers, Rate Queries, Yield Management, Exchange Rates. Testing New functions *Client Set up and Maintenance: Registration, Accounts, AS400 maintenance, account shut downs *Reporting Duplicate Bookings to clients and monitoring of Time Out Bookings *Collating and advising clients of new products *Public Website Exclusions *Collation of meeting agenda's and Minutes *Collation of stats. Daily, monthly & quarterly *Checking of xml bookings for accounting purposes *Upkeep of filing and records *Organisation of Trade shows. *Newsletters /Client Alerts *Checking past bookings for losses Experience Required: *Fluency in English and a second European language would be a bonus *Sound knowledge of Excel and Word *Travel & Tourism degree or relevant travel industry experience preferable *Excellent organisational skills with good attention to detail *Excellent customer care and communication skills *Team player able to work in a busy environment *Ability to adapt and learn new systems *Excellent inter-personal skills *A friendly and professional telephone manner *Able to liaise with staff in other divisions and clients *Ability to compose & format emails to clients and colleagues without the use of templates *Knowledge of AS/400 an advantage but not essential The Package: *The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive starting salary of £21,000 - £22,000 + bonus. *Life Assurance *Work Life Balance - Any over time worked is recorded and capped at 75 hours (Core Hours Worked).
