An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Long Haul Product Executive to join a luxury tour operator in SW London. If you have knowledge of the Indian Ocean, Caribbean and Middle East this is the perfect role for you. The main purpose of this role is to work closely with the Product Manager to develop, plan and deliver a range of profitable quality products to meet the strategic aims of the business and to negotiate the very best commercial terms to preserve and improve the company's market position. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES *To ensure that the database Is loaded accurately and kept up to date with all special offers and prices. *To produce regular monthly statistics detailing company sales performance *To assist the Reservations department with day to day contract queries *Assist the Product Manager with drawing up contracts / Hotel Information forms *Assist in all brochure production tasks. This includes image selection, copy checking, price checking and copy approval *Assist in the Product training for reservations team as required *Analyse market and competitor activity including regular piece and rate comparisons with our competitors *Maintain up to date contracts and product files on hotels and resorts *Produce regular Special offers updates to Reservations and assist in producing Special Offers for Trade and Consumers *New Product Development - Assist in looking at future commercial opportunities *Assist in the handling customer complaints. Liaising with hoteliers and airlines *To represent the company at travel industry events when required SKILLS REQUIRED *Sound product knowledge of the Caribbean, Indian Ocean and Middle East regions and preferably other long haul luxury markets. *Highly numerate and analytical *Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail *Literate, numerate, analytical and creative with excellent computer skills *Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills *Ideally 2 years' experience in a Product Assistant/Contracts Assistant role at a Long Haul tour operator THE PACKAGE *Competitive base salary DOE *Monday to Friday working hours *Fantastic location in SW London *Travel perks and benefits *Company bonus scheme INTERESTED?
