My client, a luxury bespoke travel company is seeking an experienced and well-travelled Product and Sales Manager for their Australasia team. As a Product and Sales Manager you will be responsible for developing the Australasia department by researching, sourcing and selecting products, building relationships with suppliers as well as well as the day-to-day management of a small team of two. This is an exciting and dynamic role which will also involve selling luxury tailor-made private trips to clients. Duties:
*Developing the Australasia department by selecting products, researching areas, sourcing and building our relationships with suppliers
*Creating and selling luxury tailor made holidays to clients
*Managing a small team of two
*Reviewing and updating product continually to ensure the best service and choice for our clients
*Arranging and delivering training sessions on product both from suppliers and within department
*Working side by side with the Content and Product Managers to design sample itineraries for the website, and ensure online information is up-to-date and relevant
*Contributing with new marketing initiatives to promote more interest in Australasia
Skills required:
*Proven record of successfully leading a team
*Strong, in-depth knowledge of Australasia.
*Ability to actively listen and demonstrate empathy and self-awareness
*Flexibility to take on a variety of tasks and willingness to roll sleeves up and support colleagues.
*Keen to lead by example and nurture and motivate a team
The Package:
The successful candidate can expect a starting salary of £33,500 + commission.
