Are you a Product executive looking for a New Challenge or an experienced Travel Consultant looking for a role in Product now here is your chance to work for an award winning specialist brand becoming an integral part of a dynamic, ambitious, innovative and growing business. The Role: *Coordinate and communicate all Southeast Asia itinerary alterations and other product changes to relevant parties within the business both in the UK and globally. *Follow up with suppliers on customer complaints and feedback and support the Customer Relations team as required for Southeast Asia. Use this information as input to the Southeast Asia product development and improvement process as appropriate. *Maintain product information and documents related to the Southeast Asia product range, this will involve the administration of planning sheets, final itineraries and tour dossiers. *Liaise with relevant suppliers for specific requests made by the UK sales team. *Be on hand to answer any queries for the Sales team as required. *Provide full assistance with the production of all relevant client documentation, including reviewing copy, checking the accuracy and appropriateness of information, and liaising with the design team and proofing. *Carry out weekly capacity reports for Southeast Asia and make recommendation to the Product Manager to maximise yield and profitability. *Work with the Southeast Asia Product Manager to deliver training programmes to the reservations team and other parts of the business when required. *Carry out regular analysis of relevant competitors' products and keep up-to-date with trends and activity. *Work with internal departments on ad-hoc projects as required to ensure the accuracy of product information, including supporting the yearly brochure production process. *Research relevant product destinations where possible. *Be positive and flexible to assist with other aspects of the product department when necessary. *Be willing to work with other destinations as required (including South America) *Be positive in undertaking any reasonable duties relevant to the position to ensure the success of the department. *Continually develop personal knowledge and expertise, be pro-active and work with autonomy. *Actively collaborate with other departments on all elements of the product mix. Skills Required: *Outstanding organisational skills, methodical, ability to prioritise *Attention to detail, accuracy and systems orientated *Proven writing skills, including ability to accurately proof and develop brochures and other customer literature *Lateral thinking and problem solving ability *Excellent communication and interpersonal skills *High energy, positive "can do "spirit and strong team ethic *Culturally astute with preferably a good knowledge of Southeast Asia *Aptitude to learn various reservations systems *Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines with flexible working hours *Competency using Excel and other Microsoft Office Applications The Package: *Salary dependent on experience , company annual bonus scheme , 20 days' holiday entitlement with an additional day for each completed year.
