As a member of a small team you will be responsible for a broad range of key tasks within the business including dealing with clients and potential clients by phone and email mostly, pre-trip, during the trip and post trip. Preparation of itineraries and trip documentation dealing with suppliers in a wide range of countries. This role would suit someone that is looking to grow within the role and company.
Key Responsibilities:
*Liaising with suppliers from a range of different countries
*Make flight bookings with agents and ticket consolidators
*Helping clients with pre- and post-trip tour arrangements
*Following up with clients post-trip for feedback
*Invoicing and preparation of trip documentation
*Basic account logging and management of payments
*Brochure mail outs and follow ups
*Answering phone calls, responding to emails and being flexible to work on tasks as they arise
*Helping at trade fairs and occasional travel events (speaking with clients, preparation of documents, help setting up, etc.)
*Occasional overseas familiarization trips to expand and develop product knowledge
Skills Required:
*Impeccable attention to detail
*Strong organisational skills
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (fluency in English essential)
*Good IT skills - especially working with spreadsheets. (Word/Excel/Gmail/Google Docs/Internet)
*Knowledge of Galileo preferable
*Minimum 1 years' experience in client-facing role
*Knowledge of any of our destinations is an advantage
*Good team player
*Customer focus
*Financial awareness
The Package:
*Salary of £19,000 - £22,000 Mon-Fri, starting 09:00/09:30 finishing at 17:00/17:30. There is also free use of an on-site gym and free use of a bike shed.
