Marketing Manager is required for a 7 Month Maternity Contract to assist with the delivery of the department's marketing objectives, using he full range of marketing techniques across B2C and B2B channels to market (direct and trade). These objectives include increasing customer acquisition and retention whilst maintaining a focus on cost efficiency. Key responsibility is in delivering consumer and trade advertising and marketing activity.
The Job:
*Responding to the commercial needs of the business, with the objective to increase ROI
*Maintain direct marketing budget tracking spend across B2C/B2B activity
*Work with Media Agency, planning and booking activity, managing media plans
*Work direct with publications to create and signoff on all advertorials
*Fulfil a busy National Press schedule (classified/display) liaising direct with titles and working on creative with US based agency
*Coordinate the offline loyalty advertising, planning direct mail campaigns
*TV advertising: Adapting creative for the UK Market; briefing production and providing substantiations
*Assist direct reports to fulfil all Trade requirements for promotions, incentives, point of sale, and all communications i.e. B2B emails, trade press, social media
*Work with tour operators and travel agents, delivering and approving all marketing plans, microsite, brochures and ensuring website content is up-to-date
*Plan, budget and fulfil joint marketing campaigns with key Consortia
*Sign off on Travel Agent marketing requests for co-op opportunities
*Manage Retail Store branding opportunities
*Assist Departmental Head on joint campaigns with tourist boards
*Strategies, manage and deliver DM campaigns to grow incremental business
*Manage brochure fulfilment process including BP database management, brochure print/production and budgets
*Approve media agency invoices on a weekly basis and provide for payment
*Assist the HOD and Events team in the delivery of Store Events Programme
*Coordinate and organise all offline print filing, keeping press folders up-to-date
*Be a brand ambassador by growing and developing brand awareness across multiple platforms, ensuring all brand guidelines are adhered to
*Continue to research and propose new unexplored opportunities, developing strategic initiatives to increase incremental business
*Managing and motivating a team of two, ensuring objectives are met and striving to inspire and support development

Skills Required:
*Pleasant personality to fit in with a vibrant marketing department
*Good communicator - written, verbal and presentation
*Ability to project manage and multi task and work to tight deadlines
*Commercially driven
*Confidence to build strong relationships with internal and external contacts
*Ability to put yourself in the consumer and trade mind-set
*Creative, articulate and numeric with a good eye for detail
*Self-starter with the ambition to progress and develop the role
*Strong team player
*Fresh and proactive thinker
*Understanding of travel industry sectors, in particular tour operation
*At least 3 years' experience of trade and consumer marketing
*Experience and understanding print advertising, production and fulfilment
*People management
*Travel industry experience is a must

The Package:
*A salary of £38,000 - £40,000 for dependant on experience Pro Rota for the 7 Months.
