My client is an award winning Travel Company based in Glasgow. JOB DESCRIPTION Working as a Travel Consultant in the Australasia / USA or India team you will be booking holidays via telephone. All of the enquiries will be for specific destinations, with many of the enquiries / Bookings being for multi-centres and luxury, high-spend travellers. Candidates living in Glasgow or willing to relocate will be considered. Responsibilities include: - - Selling from inbound sales leads, with some enquiries generated on email. - Using your travel industry experience and solid destination / product knowledge to assist you in advising your clients on their options. - Using CRS, daily. - Creating bespoke Tailor Made luxury itineraries - Be the immediate point of contact from the start of the booking to the end. - Ensure fantastic customer service is given at all times, going the extra mile You will be passionate about travel and have specialised or extensively travelled throughout worldwide destinations. You will be confident and have strong sales experience, be exceptional at customer service and providing the right experience. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: -Using your in-depth knowledge, the Travel Consultants sell individually designed tailor-made itineraries for our discerning clients. - You will have previous Travel sales experience with knowledge in the specific destination -In addition, the ability to deliver excellent customer service is paramount. - GDS experience / knowledge THE PACKAGE: A well above average salary will be offered depending on experience.
