Are you an experienced MICE events project executive with the ability to speak and write Italian fluently? If you have a strong incoming MICE operations background then this fantastic career opportunity awaits you!

This successful and established travel company offers comprehensive ground handling services throughout the UK for touring groups, special interest groups, Conferences and Incentives.

Key skills required:

*Fluency in English/Italian essential, a third language such as French or Spanish would be advantageous
*A minimum of two years' experience in an inbound operator in a similar role, organising event and incentive travel to the UK.
*Excellent knowledge of the UK as a destination, in particular London.
*In-depth knowledge of what London and the UK has to offer as a Mice destination
*Ability to research events, incentive, conference market.
*Proven experience of preparing presentations and operating incentive groups.
*A client portfolio

Summary of Role:

*To look after the Italian inbound Incentive and event Market
*To produce competitive Incentive quotes for your clients To ensure that all quotes are sent out within guidelines given
*To ensure that a healthy conversion rate is achieved at all times
*To keep you product knowledge up to date at all times
*To build relationships and maintain a great working relationship with your clients.
*To build relationships with all suppliers and ensure that you have excellent knowledge of any service that is offered.
*To build and maintain a good working relationship with your team
*To assume all responsibility for your clients pending and confirmed groups.

Breakdown of role:

*To acknowledge and qualify (via phone) all new requests
*To make sure that all offers are sent out in our standard format and are all entered into tourplan and that any amendments etc are all tracked in tourplan as well
*To ensure that your offer is creative, innovative and unique.
*To keep a log of all quotations and cancellations.
*To ensure that all offers are followed up immediately and then within one week of sending and then after that as per option date given.
*To organise and participate in any client famtrips that need to take place in order to win or facilitate a booking.
*To maintain good relationships with all clients and ensure that any promises/deadlines that are made to them are kept.
*To keep abreast of who our competitors are, who they work with both clients and suppliers and what they are offering
*To build relationships with suppliers and ensure that your product knowledge is kept up to date at all times.
*To buy under budget(without compromising on quality) where possible in order to increase the margin.
*To send invoices on time to clients and ensure that all payments are made within time guidelines.
*To liaise with accounts on all supplier payments and ensure that they are paid in advance of group arrival if this is what has been agreed.
*To never let a group travel without payment.
*To ensure all your files are kept in a organised manner that enables others to cover for you if the need arises
*To deal with complaints as and when they arise in a professional manner
*To take your turn in the emergency phone rota
*To be aware of all Hotel, venue etc. special offers on the incentive market that may help us secure business

The successful candidate can expect a very competitive salary in the region of £22-26k depending on relevant experience.
