Do you have flight operations and ticketing experience? If you do then this successful specialist travel company in Hertfordshire is seeking a flights administrator to join their operations team.

Role responsibilities include:
*Responsible for all processes involving issuing airline tickets.
*Issue IT, nett, published fares, group fares, re-issues, refunds and re-validations.
*Issue EMD to pay for deposits, excessive baggage and similar.
*Responsible for optimising potential costs savings, and detailing savings in log.
*Pre-allocating seating, meals and service requests with OSI/SSR.
*Creating bookings in Amadeus from flight manifests to complete manifests and maintain accurate records.
*Managing flight manifests in timely manner to airlines
*Calculating costs for Flight upgrades - UK, European & Worldwide destinations.
*Monitoring flight changes and updating as necessary in-house systems and advising guests and other departments.
*Providing support for Out of Hours when necessary.

Requirements:
*Experience of working with Group Travel, Airline Groups & Allocations.
*Good knowledge of Amadeus or similar GDS.
*High competency in airline fares preferably gained within a tour operator or airline ticketing environment.
*Understanding with all aspects of IATA ticketing rules.
*Excellent attention to detail is essential.

The successful applicant can expect a competitive salary package of £20-25k depending on experience.
