Do you have experience in the Events industry and looking for you next exciting to challenge?

A trusted Travel Brand (located near London Bridge) are looking for someone who is able to carry out all aspects of event organisation, including delegate and speaker management, budgeting, venue booking and supplier management. The role will also be involved in content production for small and medium sized events.

Duties

Event management
*Source venues and liaise with event suppliers (A/V, printers etc.).
*Send speaker and delegate joining instructions and confirmation emails.
*Manage relationships with senior level speakers
*Chase and collate speaker biographies and presentations.
*Welcome delegates, speakers and sponsors at events and manage the day.
*Work with venues to ensure correct set up on the day of events.
*Liaise and book couriers.

Content production - small and medium-sized events
*For small and medium-sized events, carry out thorough market research on a topic, write a commercially viable programme and copy, source and secure senior industry speakers and partners.
*Liaise internally to agree content and key messages.
*Negotiate and agree speaker fees and expenses.

Post-event administration
*Post-event evaluation and de-brief.
*Process speaker fees, expenses and event invoices.
*Budget reporting.

Other
*CRM data administration.
*Work with other teams to help deliver regional meetings if needed.
*Work closely with event managers and the wider events team to ensure that event administration is carried out in a timely manner.
*Provide excellent customer service for speakers, sponsors and delegates, before, during and after an event.
*To work at events as required.
*Occasional travel may be required i.e. annual convention, meetings, and regional events.
*Any other duties in keeping with this role.


The Person:

Someone who uses their own initiative, independent, can hit the ground running, enjoys working in team, down to earth, and has a good sense of humour and is flexible to ensure the events run smoothly. Ideally, a graduate with one year's work experience within the Events industry, who is adaptable, has good communication skills and is confident to communicate with senior stakeholders as well.


*At least 1 years' experience working in events. This can include an industrial placement whilst at university.
*Able to demonstrate an understanding of events and the travel industry.
*Excellent time management skills, the ability to prioritise, juggle projects and meet strict deadlines.
*Able to provide excellent customer service - confident manner, able to deal with enquiries and senior speakers.

A salary of £25,000 - £28,000 will be offered, depending on experience.
