I am currently looking for a Database Developer to work on a three month temporary contract, to start as soon as possible for my client who are based in Wiltshire. The Database developer will work with the existing data team to help define the structures of a new database migrating an existing Access Database to a new SQL environment. Additionally, the role will support the existing team to determine best practice.

The Role.
_Working with business managers to determine data requirements
_Review the proposed data structures and advise on the required data structures for the new database
_Develop the new database to be a fit for purpose consolidated reporting platform
_Advise existing team on best practice in maintaining data
_Take lead on the project to migrate data from an Access database to an SQL database

The Candidate
Essential
_Experienced Database Developer
_Extensive experience of Access and SQL databases
_Experience of migrating and consolidating data from multiple platforms
_Able to offer advice and guidance to existing inexperienced team
_Stakeholder management
_Excellent communication skills

_Ability to work within a team of mixed experience
_Open friendly approach

The package:
The successful candidate will be rewarded a salary in the region of £400 - £500 per day, this will be dependent on experience and this will start as an initial 3 month contract.
