Corporate Travel Consultant - Central London

A Corporate Travel Consultant is required for a niche Travel Management Company based in the West End. If you are a senior business travel consultant at the top of your game and looking for a new challenge, this could be it?

The Job:

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Corporate Travel Consultant to work on some exciting and high-profile accounts.
You will be responsible for being the first point of contact for specific and ad hoc corporate accounts. You will ensure client travel needs are fully met to satisfaction in a timely and effective manner whilst showing initiative and pro-activity with an ability to handle all work within the deadlines required

*Account Management service to designated corporate clients
*Provision of expert advice in all aspects of business travel
*Administration of the full cycle life of a booking
*A working knowledge of the Business Travel Industry is required
*Booking Flights, Rail, Ferries, Hotels, Ground Arrangements such as
Transfers and car hire
*Up-selling added value items such as airport transfers, VIP airport services, and extra nights stays etc.
*Issuing tickets, re-issuing and performing recalculations of international and domestic airfares.

Experience Required:

*Previous experience of working in the corporate / business travel sector
*Knowledge of specialised travel related IT systems including Amadeus including air bookings, group ticketing, refunds, reissues, seating and the Dolphin back office systems.
*Previous experience of handling corporate travel accounts

The Package:
This role for Corporate Travel Consultant comes with an attractive salary package of up to £27,000 per annum.

Other Information:
Hours of Work will be Monday to Friday between 9am and 6pm however you will also have an occasional requirement for on call work over the weekend with the emergency mobile and laptop. Extra remuneration will apply for this.
