Fantastic new position!! Are you a Commercial Manager looking for a change? Are you looking to work for one of the largest independent Travel Groups in the UK??
An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced senior travel professional to join Fantastic Company at their head office based in Walsall.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, this exciting role will involve managing a small team with roles covering all aspects of commercial with your main responsibilities to liaise with member marketing teams and taking the lead in negotiating responsibility on supplier accounts, aiming to increase commission rates. You will ensure all contracts negotiated with suppliers and clients are as beneficial as possible to the company.

Job Summary
To negotiate commercials deals which deliver the best return for the business and ensure robust contracts are in place and operate effectively.
Work closely with the Head of Commercial & Marketing on the commercial strategy and product mix.
Negotiate and secure funding to ensure marketing plans can be executed efficiently and effectively in all channels to market.
Agree sales policy by sector which enables margin and override goals to be met.

Key Responsibilities
The post holder shall:
Negotiate commercial's deals for key products ensuring the best return for the business and that contracts are in place and operating effectively.
Secure tour operator funding for marketing activity and liaise with the marketing team on the execution of activity.
Work closely with the Head of Commercial & Marketing to ensure the commercial strategy within all sectors is delivered; negotiate terms and manage specific accounts as determined by the Head of Commercial & Marketing, and provide support by taking responsibility for key duties during their absence.
Liaise with colleagues at all levels providing help and support relating to commercial and marketing matters.
Build relationships with key stakeholders within the business to ensure consistent processes within the business.
Track and report all key targets and ensure plans are in place to maximise the achievement of override.
Participate in commercial and marketing planning meetings and assist in key supplier focus and day to day future campaign marketing activity.
Manage relevant ATOL agreements to ensure all distribution channels are compliant with CAA regulations.
Complete and distribute monthly sector reports.
Lead, coach and develop team individuals to improve performance and meet business and personal objectives.
Where relevant implement a tender process for relevant product sectors.

Package:
A fantastic salary of £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience. Fantastic Travel benefits and a company pension along with other great company benefits.
