Senior Business Travel Consultants are asked to apply for this well-established Travel Management Company. Working in their London offices with the option to Home-Work after probation.
The Job:
*Sales
*Providing clients with competitive quotes
*Responding quickly to email and phone requests
*Suggesting better/alternative travel arrangements
*Making sure bookings are correct before being sent out
Account management
*Keeping on top of statements /invoices /remittances
*Chasing payments
*Providing clients with reports for those that request this
*Keeping in touch with travel bookers/travel managers during quiet times
*Cultivating relationships with travel bookers and travelers through rapport
*Always remembering to add frequent flyer numbers / BA on business / meal and seat requests = keeping them happy
*After sales care, eg notifying clients of schedule changes / entering APIS etc.
*Making sure we have up to date info for the travelers, e.g. passports etc.
*Reminding clients they need ESTAs / visas
Admin
*Entering bookings and information into the sheet every time and accurately
*Entering credit card transactions into the sheet every time and accurately
Skills Required:
*Previous Business Travel working experience
*Excellent fares knowledge of both nett and published airfares
*Exceptional worldwide flights knowledge coupled with good selling skills to handle new airfare contracts etc.
*Working knowledge of a GDS system (Sabre, Galileo or Amadeus)
*A fast and flexible working attitude
