A Well known tour operator with an established reputation are looking for an experienced aviation and operations executive to join their busy team. This role is pivotal to this and it is imperative that the quality & accuracy of work produced is always of the highest standards. Reporting to the Aviation Manager and working as part of the Operations team, this role is only suitable for an individual with excellent attention to detail and accuracy. The job is varied and demanding with constant deadlines that need to be met.

KEY PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
⦁Prepare & issue tickets (net & published fares) using Amadeus
⦁To action & distribute Amadeus queues
⦁To process shared and private charters payment reports
⦁BSP reconciliation
⦁Process reissues and refunds
⦁Update relevant departments when offers are received from Airlines
⦁Updating and releasing fares through Amadeus FareXpert
⦁Update schedule changes
⦁First point of contact for: Fare quotes, rate & fare rule queries, name changes, amendments, staff travel (air) & flights for fam trips.

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES
To work as part of the Operations team including:

⦁To process booking confirmations and invoices
⦁Liaison with overseas Ground Handlers
⦁Post booking support to Travel Agents & Direct clients
⦁To collate and check all final documentation and itineraries for despatch

To assist with other duties in the department as required and agreed with the Operations & Customer service Manager or Aviation Manager.










KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS REQUIRED
⦁2 years experience in a similar role
⦁A strong understanding of fares and airline rules and regulations
⦁Proficient in using Amadeus including booking, pricing and ticketing
⦁Familiar with BSP regulations & reporting
⦁Word
⦁Excel
⦁Perfect English (written & spoken)
⦁Attention to detail
⦁Work well under pressure and meet deadlines

PREFERABLE EXPERIENCE
⦁Knowledge of the Caribbean, Middle East, & Indian Ocean

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES/QUALITIES REQUIRED
This role requires someone who works well under pressure in a busy working environment. Excellent communication skills are essential, both spoken and written with the ability to work as part of a team. Good organisation skills are also required with a can-do approach to problems and challenges.


You will be contracted to work:
⦁5 days a week, 09:00 - 17:30 / 09:30-18:00
⦁One Saturday every 3-4 weeks: 09:30 - 16:30
