Currently looking for an Application Support Analyst to join one of London's leading sightseeing company.

Working as part of an integrated IT team, the role will have a primary focus of supporting Back office systems and applications.

*Working within a team, troubleshoot issues and support back office applications and mobile apps and ensure issues/faults are restored immediately
*As an Application Support Specialist, you will perform a critical role in Application Support and Service Management with responsibility to ensure stability, continuity and availability of the applications, in addition to providing rapid response to incidents and escalated user queries.
*Test newly developed software, existing software upgrades and deployments to ensure quality is maintained; executing all types of manual testing, identify vulnerable areas of the software and raise, prioritise and track defect reports through to conclusion
*Liaison with 3-party vendors for Development and Software support
*Deployment and roll-out of various mobile Apps and tracking deployment version on devices
*The delivery of documentation to agreed standards, on time and error free.
*Be prepared to take ownership of the role and must be able to take on ad-hoc assignments relevant to the role
*Out of hours cover and support, providing expertise and specialised system knowledge to allow resolution of key incidents

*Understanding of web applications and APIs
*Good knowledge and experience in API configuration and testing
*Experience in configuring Smartphones & Tablets
*Automation testing of mobile Apps or API testing with scripting languages would be a great advantage.
*Strong problem-solving ability.
*Take responsibility for the technical solution to incidents, reacting quickly and as necessary to live software errors to limit downtime and resolve the issue.
*Good communications and influencing skills, with the ability to explain technologies and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
